Why did you choose this part to represent Rio de Janeiro at the First Rio City Aesthetic Marathon?
This place is a liberating and historical landmark of the city of Rio de Janeiro. It reminds us of the historical Rio de Janeiro with its Portuguese and in certain way also its Catholic legacy. Here we have got a church which is a monument of the Catholic faith of the country. It is not about religion itself, but about the whole occidental inheritance which was brought to America. And here we got all this load of a formerly possible Rio de Janeiro which nowadays is only a historical Rio.
