Why did you choose this part to represent Rio de Janeiro at the First Rio City Aesthetic Marathon?

Because this is a place wich only very few people know. It is a nice place that offers the scenery of the city with the Sugar Loaf, but it is, nevertheless, a place where few people come to, it is completely different, very playful. You can walk here around the runway of the airport Santos Dummont, it is a strange situation because you cross the runway, together with the starting and landing airplanes. It is a very dangerous place because now and again you take off yourself with the airplanes if you walk behind the starting airplanes, just like now. It is completely different. It is a nice place (there is another one starting!). Everything may fly with the airplanes when they start, it is very dangerous. But at the same time this feeling of danger is very thrilling, it is entertaining to be here and to be exposed to this danger to fly with the airplanes. Reminds a little of childhood when you are fascinated by airplanes. I travel very much and with pleasure, so I like the feeling to be here and to watch the airplanes, close to them. This place is nice, and I brought you here because it is not well known. Nobody can imagine that one can cross the runway of an airport. I believe this is possible nowhere in the world! But it is nice to be here. All friends whom I bring here are completely surprised. What? What do I do here on a runway of an airport? For these reasons I have selected this place, because it is nice, entertaining, surprising and dangerous. But above all because it is strange, it causes strangeness: on the one hand the beauty, on the other the landing airplanes. One is afraid to be carried away. The place is full of funny stories. It already happened that cars flew with the airplanes because they stood here as an airplane started. Of course this is forbidden. Cars already flew and some people. Everything flies here with the airplanes. Even the frogs fly! That´s it!
