Why did you choose this part to represent Rio de Janeiro at the First Rio City Aesthetic Marathon?
In 1946, just shortly after the war, I arrived here with my family on a ship called Aldabi from Rotterdam, from Holland. Many years later I found out that Aldabi is a name of a star, and here I have made my life.
Your favourite art place?
The MAC (Museu de Arte Contemporânea) in Niterói is my favourity place, because of its location and architecture.
Your favourite shop in Rio?
My favourite shop is the bookstore Leonardo da Vinci in downtown Rio.
Your favourite restaurant in Rio – and what should you order there?
Now and again I drink a Cachaça with Guarana in the bar Jóia Carioca in the Rua Jardim Botânico, 594. I avoid the beach.
